They are set out to air dry and then to be detailed. Each heliconia is dabbed clean, both inside and outside. The outside is trimmed up to make sure that they are cut to the customer’s exact specified dimensions and that there are no parts that appear bruised or hurt (maintenance of heliconias) prior to packaging.
